How was your Memorial Day? We had a good one of getting a lot of stuff done around the house + chillin and grillin! I hope yours was a good one too!!
So we have the date set for the next Those Who Speak! At the last meeting, we decided to have these meetings every two months instead of every three just to give people more opportunity to come to one/some. There’s no such thing as a perfect date that works for every schedule, so we are hoping that the more frequent meetings increase the chance of the date being good for more people more often!
Those Who Speak is a very casual support group that started a little over a year ago where women who have experienced difficulty with getting pregnant, staying pregnant, or have lost a child at a very young age can come together over a glass of wine (or water!) and share, talk through, encourage, and simply become friends with other women who may be going through something similar. I cannot tell you what a blessing this group as been to me and to others! Even if you’re on the other side of the difficulty you were once facing and now have a baby you can hold in your arms, you’re still encouraged to attend!
I think about our little girl every single day and even though she was only 11 weeks in my belly, her life had MEANING. Truly. I want to talk about her. I love her! She’s my baby and her very short life has been a ministry. God doesn’t create life without meaning (Jeremiah 1:5) so this group is for talking about those short lives and/or the difficulty of ever getting pregnant in the first place.
