My baby gal is TEN! And I cannot tell you how much fun we had celebrating the occasion! 🙂 We had a PIG-NIC, which is a guinea pig extravaganza with a yummy picnic-y charcuterie spread!

One of the most common questions I’ve gotten about this party is, “Are all those guinea pigs YOURS?! If not, where did you source guinea pigs?!” I did actually try to locate some sort of guinea pig petting zoo service but apparently there is no such thing… So we just borrowed! We have two guinea pigs of our own, then we borrowed two more from one friend, then one *more* from *another* friend! Summer, Cloudy, Peanut Butter, Cocoa, and Spirit were SO sweet and seemed to have a pretty good time! I know all our little friends had fun with them! 🙂
We did a charcuterie spread coming “out” of a picnic basket for the real food, and cupcakes with little guinea pig cake toppers (which we made based off of the guinea pig on our invite) for the cake portion of the program. For activities, we of course played with guinea pigs! Then we also had a little photo booth and Polaroid cameras so each girl could take a few pics to take home! We also had some little polaroid photo frames that the girls could decorate with paint markers. Lastly, the girls could make guinea pig “cootie catchers!” I got them on Etsy!

Quick moment to give my friend Taylor with The Confetti Club a shout out! The Confetti Club can pretty much do as much or as little help with your party as you need. I hired her to take care of the photo booth and the food, and she did a wonderful job! I owe another shout out to my girl Misty for painting the “Welcome to the pig-nic” sign. She based the design off the invitation and NAILED it! 🙂 My friends are SO talented!!
