Catching Up On The Keeping Room

It’s been a little while since I posted any #newhoohouse updates! Things are coming together piece by piece and, although it’s a slow process, I’m really enjoying it!

Our keeping room (I posted this a few months ago) is one place where we spend a LOT of time. We watch our shows in there, I often feed Wilson in there, the dogs love cuddling up with us in there, we often times eat supper in there… It’s our go-to room! And whenever people come over, we usually land in there.

There are still multiple things I want to do in there (like hang a light fixture, get a bigger rug, get some side tables and lamps… You know, I just keep dreaming of stuff! ha!) but I’m super happy with the way it’s shaping up!

The coffee table, chairs, and sectional are all from SummerHouse, the rug is from West Elm (which I still LOVE, but it’s a liiiiittle small for the new house!), the art is a family heirloom, and the pillows are just a hodge podge of Schumacher, leftover fabric scraps, and Target! (These pillows aren’t available at Target but they have some super cute ones right now… I like this, this, and this!) And if you’re a Paris lover like I am, this book is so great! It’s just simple, colorful pictures of a gorgeous city!
