Last night, our church life group celebrated FRIENDSGIVING!
Since you don’t always get to spend Thanksgiving with friends, the idea of Friendsgiving just makes sense! And who doesn’t love an extra reason to celebrate with friends and food?!
As far as I could tell, everyone had a great time! To take the fun up a notch, we all decided to dress up like pilgrims and indians! (Or should I say native Americans?) 🙂 There were some pretty awesome costumes!
Since our baby could be here at any moment, I may or may not have already decorated our house for Christmas… Hence the decorations you may see in some of these pics… 😉 As far as table decorations, I put kraft paper on the fold out tables, had a little fun with some chalk on the paper, then got some inexpensive hypernicum berries at Fresh Market and used them in some arrangements with random plants from the yard! Fresh cranberries also looked pretty in little bowls for a pop of color!
We also had a little photo booth of sorts! Which I, of course, had to test out!
Step aside, people. Pregnant pilgrim in the house!
We had some super cute little cheerins at the party!!!

After this inaugural life group Friendsgiving, there are three things I know…
(1) I’m not sure when I’ll ever eat again. We’ve got some talented cooks in the bunch and I ate waaaayyyy too much food last night…
(2) I love our life group so much! What an awesome bunch of people!!!!
(3) We are definitely doing a second annual Friendsgiving celebration next year. No question!
Thanks for checking in today! Hope you’ve had a great week so far!
Have any of you celebrated Friendsgiving?!?!
I found you through the Southern Blog Society. This looks like such a fun celebration! Happy Friendsgiving!
Thank you Brettni! Happy Thanksgiving to you! Your blog is beautiful!!
