Master Bedroom Update

Small changes that make a big impact in a master bedroom

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Ours was pretty great. Nothing major at all happened, and that’s why it was great! We have an exciting week ahead with several meetings and opportunities to learn more about Dempsey’s hearing loss and how we can go ahead and start helping him! 🙂

Completely unrelated to that is our master bedroom updated I blogged about happening here! I LOVE the difference the small changes made. All we did was switch out the euro shams on our bed and add a big lumbar. Oh, and we left up some “winter decorations!” (I hope to blog more about those in the coming week or so. Loving them!) Everything else is the same but what a huge difference it made!

I think the switch to a more neutral palette makes the art above our bed pop even more! This piece is by Price’s grandmother, who is now in heaven, so it’s an extra special piece to us! And I love the color! This is a perfect illustration of why I’m such a fan of white walls and white basics. Art (and rugs for that matter) TOTALLY POP against a clean white.

What are y’all’s favorite small ways to make a big impact in your home? Although I have several rooms in our house that I wouldn’t mind designing completely from scratch, that is simply not an option right now, so finding little ways to enhance what we already have going on is really fun!

Thank y’all SO much for stopping by today. It means so much to me that you take time out of your day to check in here! Much love! XO!

LOVE those shams! I need to win a sweepstakes for someone to redo my bedroom. Or “do” it. “Redo” implies it was done at some point… 😉
