I am SO EXCITED to officially get to announce this event! It’s something I’ve been working on for about a month now, and I’m thrilled with how it’s coming together!
I did a little poll asking who might be interested in a little charcuterie tutorial, and the response was overwhelming! Several of you mentioned having wine pairings and I thought… YES! Why not!? SO, one of the cutest bars in Mississippi, The Briar Patch at The Town of Livingston, has agreed to host this event on Monday, October 7th from 6:30 to 8:30!! And my wine-savvy friend Amanda from @redlips_and_vinosips on insta is going to do the wine pairings! I know she’ll pick some great stuff for us to enjoy with our charcuterie!
So here’s what the evening will look like:
You come to The Briar Patch (SUCH a cool bar) at 6:30 and enjoy a welcome glass of bubbles while getting to graze a big charcuterie table that I hope to make my best one yet! (See past examples of these tables in this post and this post.)
THEN, after everyone has arrived and we’ve gotten in some good visiting, we’ll all sit down with your very own blank charcuterie boards, and we are going to build an individual sized board together while I share tips on flavors, arranging, what I always try to include, how I keep to a budget, a few artsy tips, and SO much more! During this process, you’ll get to try three wine parings that were specifically selected to go well with our charcuterie boards, and Amanda will elevate our wine knowledge a notch or two!
It’s going to be a total blast. You’ll leave full, with your own charcuterie board (these are your party favors), and lots of new entertaining ideas!
