This is me pretending I’m not a little scared about going “Over the Edge” on Saturday, April 17th!
Over the Edge is a fundraiser put on by Friends of Children’s Hospital where grown ups rappel down a building at The District at Eastover in Jackson! FOCH helps raise money for Batson Children’s Hospital and Children’s of Mississippi, which make up the only dedicated children’s hospital in the whole state! Our family has been blessed by this incredible hospital’s audiology and ENT departments in identifying Dempsey’s hearing loss and helping us get our sweet Demps to hearing with his awesome cochlear implants!
All of the kids who spend any amount of time at this hospital show us a unique brand of bravery every single day. So now it’s my turn to put on a brave face and let them know how special they all are to us! Even if I am a little nervous about it 🙂
My goal is to raise $1000 to secure my spot in going “Over the Edge,” so this is where I need your help! I’m already over halfway there, thanks to some incredibly generous friends! But if you’d like to put my fundraising over the edge so my person can go over the edge, I’d SO appreciate it!
