I’m a huge fan of placemats over here! The MAIN reason is because we have an old farmhouse table with very “groovy” wood and I need to protect those grooves as much as I can so food particles don’t get down in there! But I also love placemats because they’re a fun and easy way to add a little joy and festiveness to the table!
Right now, we are toggling between two sets of placemats. The first set has three personalized ones for each of my kiddos from our dear friends at Proper Paper Company! These placemats can be fully customized from the look of the child, to the scripture or prayer on it, to the educational flip sides! You can view their Etsy shop here! My FAVORITE thing about the customization of the children is that they have awesome accessories, like cochlear implants, that you can add!! See Dempsey’s little gray ear accessories?! I just LOVE them!
THANK YOU, Proper Paper Co., for being so sweet!

The second group of placemats we are currently loving are from The Mustard Seed! TMS is a Christian community for adults with developmental disabilities. They call their residents “Seedsters” and they get to live such FUN AND FULL lives over there! I love that the Seedsters share their joy with the rest of the community through their amazing artwork. If you’ve never visited The Mustard Seed’s storefront, you are TOTALLY missing out! I’m serious– it is the happiest place on earth!
One thing that I get from there every year is their booklet of fall paper placemats! I just love them. There are six different designs, and they’re paper, so after a few days of being eaten upon and having milk dribbled upon them, you just toss them and get a new one from the booklet! And I absolutely love the color-it-yourself option in this year’s book! My babies have greatly enjoyed coloring these sheets!!
As soon as you can, I HIGHLY recommend planning a trip over to their shop (1085 Luckney Road in Brandon) for a little browsing. Be sure to keep an eye on my Instagram in the coming days– You will die over all their cute Christmas stuff that I’m going to share as soon as I can get my video edited!

Now for the fun snack!!
I used my friend Lindsey’s recipe as my basis (she’s a great follow, by the way!!) but kinda added my own little twist! I love her suggestions for what to include, but since I didn’t have all of that on hand, I used some things I did have on hand!
- pretzel sticks
- candy corn
- Cocoa Puffs (the healthier version)
- craisins
- Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal
- mini marshmallows
- mini chocolate chips
I used her recommended ratio of white chocolate to dry ingredients. And be sure to do what she says and add your chocolate chips or MnMs AFTER you coat everything in the melted white chocolate!
I hope you’re having a great day! Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Autumn! <3
