Thanksgiving is next week and I know many of you are in meal planning mode! Thanksgiving dinner is made extra sparkly with a great wine pairing, don’t you think?
I asked my friends at Colony Wine Market in Madison to pick out some great wines that would pair well with traditional Thanksgiving dinners, so I’m here to pass along their top suggestions! They selected four whites and four reds, and as they were describing them to me, they seriously ALL sounded PERFECT.
Their red picks were a Willamette Valley red blend, Patton Valley Vineyard Pinot Noir, Fleurie Cuvee Spaciale, and I feel like such an idiot… I didn’t get a photo of the back of the bottle with the cool, artistic, writing-free label… But below is a photo of the front of it! ha!
Their white selections sounded every bit as good as their red ones, even though I’m not normally as much of a white fan as I am red. The white picks were Carol Shelton Coquille Blanc, Gewürz Gewürztraminer, Zotovich Viognier, and Dr. Hermann Riesling.
Colony Wine Market as been so amazing to support The Hive Blog for several years running now, so I would appreciate it so much if you show them some love with your wine business this Thanksgiving and Christmas! I know I say this every time, but they are always so helpful in guiding me towards something perfect every time. They’re just the best!
I hope you have the most fantastic Thanksgiving EVER! So much to be thankful for 🙂
