Can I tell y’all about the one thing in our house that every member of our family absolutely loves playing with? (Well, with the exception of Dempsey, but he gets a pass because he’s only four weeks old and doesn’t know what things are yet 😉 I’m confident he will love this one day!)
This is something that Wilson and Lily Ryan love playing with together, and something Price and I love playing with with them! I’ll be honest, there have been multiple times where Price and I have played with these after the kids have gone to sleep. They’re that fun! Plus they’re good for motor skills, creativity, and just all around GOOD!
This everyone-will-love-it item is a set of MAGNA-TILES! Magna-Tiles are colorful geometric “tiles” that are magnetized on the edges. They click together to form beautiful structures or patterns! Our kids particularly love using the long triangle pieces to make “pizzas” that they can serve anyone within earshot, and they also particularly love using the square pieces to see how high of a tower they can make before it falls over (or before one of them knocks it over…)
If there is one thing I could suggest buying for a toddler / preschool age / even elementary age kid in your life, it is definitely these tiles! I have actually asked grandparents to give our kids more of these for Christmas because they’re so fun, and they’ve gotten so good at building large structures that we are running out of building pieces with just one set!
