Welcome back from the weekend! I hope all of you had a great one! I was home all weekend with Lily Ryan while Price was in Oklahoma turkey hunting and Wilson was hangin with his g-rents! Lily Ry and I got in some pretty great girl bonding that I wouldn’t trade for anything! 🙂
Something fun I did this weekend while LiRy was napping was make some cookies for some neighbors! I got on Pinterest to see if I could find a fun recipe that was different from my normal (which is just the chocolate chip cookie recipe on the back of the Nestle bag!) and what I found… changed my life….
I ended up finding a recipe that looked too good to not make. Yes, it was chocolate chip, but it was so well advertised that I couldn’t not try it! “The best soft chocolate chip cookies ever.” Maybe it didn’t really change my life, but it for sure changed my weekend! And I may or may not be a few pounds heavier than I was on Friday. But totally worth it!
The recipe is from Pinch Of Yum. Here it is. I recommend making these the first chance you get. They’re really not much more involved than regular chocolate chip cookies but, in my opinion, they are sooooo much better! AND, to make them even better, I used this bourbon smoked sugar in place of the granulated sugar it called for. Yum yum yum yum yummmm. That’s all I got to say!
Enjoy your big, soft, chewy, perfectly thick cookies! Then come back and tell me how much you loved them! 🙂
Here’s the link to the recipe again so you don’t have to scroll back up! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a GREAT week!
