Keeping It Super Simple

As a mom of two, one of my main goals when getting dressed (especially on the weekends when I’ll be with my kids more!) is to keep things super simple! That’s when really easy dresses like this one from Tobi come in handy. This dress is so easy to just throw on and go! My kind of item!

Another way of keeping things simple is by doing a little planning ahead! When I was pregnant with Wilson, I invested in a Gigi New York bag as his diaper bag, knowing I’d be able to use it as a purse down the road! Now that Wilson has officially graduated to a backpack, I have myself a brand new pretty purse! YAY! And it is big, furthering the simplicity of being able to throw a bunch of stuff inside. Snacks, sunscreen, books, and whatever else the weekend may call for!

Soooo what did y’all get into this weekend?! We had a great one that started Friday night with the lady bulldogs beating UConn in basketball! Saturday we went to Miller Transporters (family business where my dad and bro work) to celebrate 75 years of business! That’s a LONG time!! YAY for Miller T! They had a great reception and a fabulous turnout!

Then we headed up to Belzoni for the World Catfish Festival and got in some good family hang time. Then yesterday at church, the marriage series that I mentioned at the end of this post continued! It has been SO good. I didn’t take as good of notes yesterday because I was just so enthralled and frankly forgot to! But I hope to share more soon! 🙂

Anyway, we ended the weekend with a house full of friends to watch the lady dawgs fight for the championship. Sadly they came up short, but I’m still so proud of them! Hail State! 🙂

Thank y’all SO much for stopping by today. It means the world to me!! And if you feel so inclined, I’d be honored if you’d like the new Facebook page I now have for THE HIVE! 🙂

XOXOXO!
