Local Lovin’: Favorite Frozen Treat

Happy Tuesday, folks!

I hope your week is off to a great start so far! Today is the second in a little series my friend Nikki from The Fashionable Wife and I have going called Local Lovin’ where each month we share our favorite local ____! Today’s topic is FROZEN TREATS! Since it’s July, we figured it was totes apropes.

This was a tough decision, but I think my favorite local frozen treat is a good old fashioned snow cone from Nandy’s Candy! I’m not sure that the Nandy’s snow cones actually taste better than ones from other places, or if it just because the snow cone comes from such a unique place that it makes it seem more special!

Whatever it is, the Nandy’s Candy snow cone is a winner. On my latest trip, I went with half pineapple, half pina colada (to indulge the part of my soul that just craves coconut this time of year) and it did not disappoint! It was the perfect refreshment for that hot summer day.
