Good morning, people!
Some of you have heard me talk about the group Those Who Speak on here before! In case you’re not familiar, it’s a support group for women who have experienced infertility, miscarriage, or early child loss. It’s been a wonderful way for me to meet and connect with some incredible girls in the area who have walked similar journeys as mine. (You can read a little more about our struggle to get pregnant/miscarriage here)
The group meets every couple of months, so here is the info on the next meeting! It’ll be March 18th at 6:30 at Corner Bakery in Flowood!
Even though I now have two beautiful, healthy children, that doesn’t mean that I don’t think about our baby girl Anna every single day. Because I do. And it still hurts. But God is good and his plan is perfect and I know I’ll see that baby girl in perfect glory soon enough!
So if you’ve been thinking about coming but think, “Oh, I can’t go because I have a kid/am pregnant now and it might be weird,” PLEASE don’t let that deter you! Even if you’ve overcome your struggle, or feel like you don’t need the group, please still consider coming! You may be able to invest in someone who is walking a similar path to one you may have been walking months or years ago. I can’t tell you the encouragement I received from women who had had miscarriages (and now have multiple healthy children) when I was dealing with the loss of our baby. And now that I do have two children, I still feel like I can invest a little something and provide a little hope for those who might be walking a similar path to what I walked a couple of years back!
Even if this group has nothing to do with you, please join me in praying that the next meeting will be meaningful to those who attend.
