Welcome back from the weekend! Did y’all have a good one? Besides all the crappy weather, we had a great one! Friday night, I got to be a part of a women’s retreat for our church, then Saturday morning, we got to celebrate my precious niece Sybil’s second birthday before heading to Belzoni, MS for the World Catfish Festival! (Belzoni is, after all, the catfish capital of the world!) The festival itself was actually a bit of a dud this year, in large part due to the weather, but we still got to see lots of friends, a bunch of cousins, Price’s parents, his brother and our sis-in-law, and his precious granddad. So overall it was great!
So other than our fun weekend, a few things that have kept my sprits high this past week are…
(1) The Greatest Showman and the soundtrack. I know I’m late to the party on this, but I’m officially obsessed with all of it! Have you seen it? We bought it on amazon and watched it as part of my birthday celebration last week and it did not disappoint. The music is particularly incredible!
(2) Watching Price and Lily Ryan bond over thunder. She is terrified of it, so if she hears it, she dives straight onto Price and hugs him and says, “thunder… scared… thunder… okay…” and it is just the sweetest. He is her big protector and she is his little princess! Oh, the sweetness! 🙂
(3) This yellow jumpsuit from Old Navy! It comes in petite, regular, and TALL! I am not normally a jumpsuit person, but this one was a great price, made for my tall frame, and was the cutest pattern/colorway! It was a no brainer for me 🙂 Oh, and it is ultra comfortable!
// jumpsuit // similar blazer // Kendra Scott earrings // gold circle necklace c/o Happiness Boutique // similar gold belt // gold mules // “Everything’s Coming Up Daisies” cups // please pardon the flipped collar/lapel on my blazer!
Thank y’all SO much for stopping by today! I hope your week is off to a great start! It is an honor that you’ve chosen to spend part of your Monday with me 🙂 So thankful for all of you!!
