This is a post I have been excited to share for MONTHS now!
My sweet friend Carlie Hogan, founder of the amazing nationally-acclaimed, Jackson-based company Galexie GLISTER™, has graciously partnered with me to create a limited edition yellow face and body glitter called Happy Hive! Not only is the color gorgeous (you know I love me some yellow!) and the name just so perfect, but 20% of our sales are going to Friends of Children’s Hospital! Friends of Children’s Hospital is a wonderful organization that supports the day-to-day needs of the children served by Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Batson has come to mean so much to our family ever since we found out about Dempsey’s hearing loss, so I’m THRILLED to have the opportunity to give back in a small way with portions of these glister sales! 🙂
I have been a fan of Galexie GLISTER™ since its beginning just a little over a year ago. I absolutely love getting festive whenever I possibly can, so face and body glitter just fits right on in with my love of dressing up and showing spirit! From the night Carlie and I met, this yellow glitter has been something we knew we wanted to partner on. So we are excited to finally have it to share with you!
Lily Ryan’s birthday party was the official “launch” of this glitter, and it was definitely a hit with all the girls in attendance. And not only with the little girls! I wore some, a few of my friends swiped some on their cheeks and arms, and my 92 year old grandmother even wore some! So glister is for every girl who wants to enhance her sparkle just a little bit 🙂
