OTS Stripes

If there are two things that scream spring to me, it’s off the shoulder anything and big striped anything! This happy top is the perfect combo of both of those which is why I’m so in love with it! I think this will find its way into my wardrobe quite often this year! 🙂

I’ve also enjoyed this fun little boho cuff from Victoria Emerson. I think I’ve worn it every other day since I got it! I’m not normally a bracelet person because they get in my way since I’m at a computer so much, but this one fits snugly enough that it doesn’t flop around while I’m typing. Victoria Emerson has tons of cuffs like this AND they’re 30% off when you use this link! YAY!

Did y’all have a good weekend? We had a full one but a fun one! We went on a fun little date Friday night to a nice restaurant, then Saturday we slept in and had a lazy morning, went to an event called Touch A Truck where kids get to play on big trucks and heavy machinery (so fun! Instas from that here and here) then we were going to go camping Saturday night but the rain changed those plans for us so we just ended up chillin at home!

Sunday was awesome because our life group at church had a guest speaker come talk about marriage and how to keep it at the top of its game! My favorite quote of the day was “when you aim at nothing, you hit it.” Meaning… If you don’t set goals for your marriage, what are you doing? What is your purpose? Just trying to make it through the next day? Set small goals (like writing a love letter once a month) and big ones (like living to celebrate X number of years of marriage, maybe with a really cool trip!) Keeping God at the center of your marriage and loving your spouse the way God loves us is the ultimate foundation for a successful marriage!

I tried to take notes so I’ll be actively working on my marriage here in the near future! Wanna join me in working on yours too?! 😉 It’ll be fun!

. . . . . . . . . .

Thank y’all SO much for stopping by today! It truly means the world! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start! XO!

    Hi, Laurel!

I love your short insert about the speaker at your life group this past Sunday. If you ever get something together, I would love to join in! Who doesn’t want to make sure their marriage is at the top of its game?! Count me in! I would even love an interactive blog where people can chime in about what has worked for them in their marriage. Ideas, etc.

That is a great idea! Let me put some thought into that!
